This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies (together, “cookies” or “Cookies”) are used when you visit our website. The website covers web services, emails and other applications operated by IC Investments Sp. z o.o. (“the Company”, “we”, “our”), as well as any other services that display this Policy. This document explains what these technologies are, why we use them and how you can control their use.

1. What is a cookie.

A cookie is a small text file (often containing a unique identifier) sent to your browser by a website server and saved on your computer, tablet or phone. A cookie stores a small amount of data about your visit to the site.

We may also use web beacons (known as “clear GIFs” or pixel tags) and similar technologies that allow us to determine whether you have visited a given page or received a message. A web beacon is usually a transparent 1×1 px image embedded in a page or message. It helps us understand traffic between adverts and the site and measure the effectiveness of email campaigns. Many of these technologies rely on cookies to work, so disabling cookies weakens their function.

Cookies that we set directly are called “first-party Cookies”. Some of them are “session cookies” — they exist only during your visit. Others are “persistent cookies” — they remain on the device after you leave the site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may reduce the quality of the site and some of its features.

2. What cookies we use.

Below we describe the main types of cookies used on the site. To the extent that personal data is collected via these cookies, our Privacy Policy also applies — the two documents complement each other.

Essential cookies. They enable you to navigate the site and use its services and features. Without them, the site does not function properly and we cannot provide parts of the services or functionality.

Social cookies. They enable sharing content on social networks and other third-party services. They may also be used for advertising purposes.

Analytics cookies. They collect information about how the site is used and help us improve its operation. They show us the most visited pages, user difficulties and the effectiveness of adverts. We analyse general usage patterns — we do not identify individual users.

3. How to manage cookies.

You can accept or reject cookies at any time — from our site or any other — through your browser settings. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can change this. If you choose to reject them, some interactive features of the site may not work.

General information on managing cookies in popular browsers: http://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/.

To opt out of Google Analytics, follow the instructions at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

4. Legal basis and consent.

Cookies necessary for the site to function do not require your consent and are used on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act). Other cookies — analytics and social — require your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by changing your browser settings or deleting cookies. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of processing prior to withdrawal.

5. Changes to this Policy.

This Cookie Policy may be updated. The date of the latest change is given at the top of the page. Each change takes effect from the moment the updated version is published on our site.
